He was predeceased by: his parent Chester Nason; his grandson Bradley Short; his daughter-in-law Ann Nason; and his siblings, Cameron Nason, Adelbert Nason, Alice Lister, Zaida Armstrong, Lucille Taylor and Mary Hanson.
He is survived by: his parent Ida Nason (Golding); his wife Audrey Nason (Ward); his children, Robert Nason (Lori), Richard Nason (Susanne), Ida Short (Phillip) and Marylou Nason; his grandchildren, Rob (Jolene), Brett (Ashly), Jenna (Jason), Karl (Catalina), Kristy (Ryan), Kurt (Kristen), Tim (Shawna), Mandy (Josh), Greg (Ashley) and Tanya (Craig); and his sisters-in-law, Joan Hare (Bryce), Mary Nason (Roland) and Carol Juvik. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
