She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Dunphy and Marlene Dunphy (Swan); her daughter Kelsey; her aunt Brenda McCullough; her uncles, Murray Swan and Ivan Jones; and her siblings-in-law, Perry VanHorne and Terry Thorne.
She is survived by: her son Justin VanHorne (Jill); her grandson Brody VanHorne; her stepgrandchildren, Brett Mabie (Sam), Colby Mabie (Hannah) and Allyson Mabie (Erin); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Chase, Charleigh, Spencer and Max Mabie; her siblings, Heather Leman (Garland), Rhonda Moore (Robbie), Kala Leman (Dwight) and Kevin Dunphy; her uncles, Blair McCullough and Alonzo Dunphy (Gayle); her aunt Jean Jones; and her close friends, Sharon Russell, Sherry McMillan, Linda Watson, Colleen Mersereau and Debbie Essensa. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a great niece and several great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Elinor may be made to the IWK, Children's Hospital.
