He was predeceased by: his parent Gordon Finnie; his former wife Patricia Finnie (Firlotte); his grandson Jason Townes; and his siblings, Erma Hickey, Connie Bell, Phyllis Fraser, Douglas, Vernon, Howard, Cecil, Blake, Otis Finnie and Glenwood.
He is survived by: his parent Elsie Finnie (Henry); his children, Nancy Wasylyniuk (Merv), Rose Mary Funk (Ken), Velma Murray (Rob), Curtis Finnie, Roger Finnie (Rachel) and Kevin Finnie (Sherry); his grandchildren, Laura (Stan), Lisa, Jennifer (Kyle), Beverly (Paul), Michael (Alison), Natasha (Mike), Rose, Victoria, Adam (Emily), Chris (Holly), Chad (Kierra), Michelle (Nick), Vanessa and Cody; and his stepchildren, Marlene Hughes (Mark), Barbara Kelly (Patrick), Boiestown, Don Finnie and Fredericton. He is also survived by several great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; several nieces and nephews.
