He was predeceased by: his parents, Granville Reid and Sydna Reid; his brothers, Horace Reid (Maria) and Garland Reid; and his sister-in-law Nancy Reid.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Reid of Hartland; his children, Joseph Reid of Olds, AB and Jill Reid (Scott Ritcey) of Woodstock; his grandchildren, Amelia Ritcey and Eliot Ritcey; and his brothers, Wayne Reid (Joanne) of Woodstock and Roy Reid (Lori) of Hartland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
