Michael D. Walton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael D. Walton of Hartland, New Brunswick, who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Wesley Walton; and his brothers, Lewis Walton and Paul Walton. He is survived by: his mother Evangeline Walton of Hartland; his wife Carolyn Walton of Hartland; his children, Gregory Walton (Meredith) of Simonds and Amy Brown (Philip) of Hartland; his grandchildren, Kyle Walton, Daniel Walton, Julianna Walton, Mason Brown and Janessa Brown; his siblings, Rosalie Walton (Jan Koops) of Somerville, Jeannie Wilson (Stephen) of Fredericton, Clarence Walton (Stephanie) of Howard Brook, Jeffrey Walton (Laurie) of Somerville, Nancy Prosser (Walter) of Stickney and Wade Walton (Kathy) of Moncton; and his sister-in-law Cindy Walton of Hartland. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hartland Wesleyan Church (115 Somerville Rd, Somerville, NB E7P2S1). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
If so desired, donations would be appreciated to the Town of Hartland Fire Department (new fire truck fund).
