He was predeceased by: his parent Edwin Briggs. He is survived by: his parent Elsie Briggs of Hartland; his sons, James Briggs (Linda) of Dartmouth and Scott Briggs (Amber Yates) of Fredericton; his grandson Walker Briggs; his sister Jocelyn Liss (Clarence) of Alberta; his close friend Claire Villanueva of Saint John; and his nieces and nephews, Krista, Krystal and Shane.
