She was predeceased by: her parent Henry Sargefield; her husbands, Gordon Boyer and Ralph Ginson; and her sons, Eugene Sargefield, Guy Sargefield, Elwood Sargefield and Allen Sargefield.

She is survived by: her parent Ella Sargefield; her son-in-law John DeMerchant; her siblings, Danny Hamilton, Hezekiah Sargefield, Effie Boyer, Amy Brown, Arlene Foster and Wendell Sargefield; and her children, Kenneth Sargefield, James Sargefield (Erma Parsons), Bethany Phillips, Betty DeMerchant (Eric Trecartin), Gary Sargefield, Connie McCorkell and Kay Boyer. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
