With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn A. E. Carten (Hartland, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 3, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Trecartin and Dora Trecartin; her husband Arthur Carten; her children, Shirley Carten and David Carten; her granddaughter Elisha Carten; her great grandchild Savana Clark; her siblings, Kathleen Lockard (Robin), Scott Trecartin (Mary-Jo) and David Trecartin; and her brothers-in-law, Paul Harris, Ronald Ingraham and Ernest Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Carten (Jeff Page) of Coldstream, Eldon Carten (Sheila) of East Brighton, Carolyn DeMerchant (Murray) of East Brighton, John Carten of Bannon, Laurie Donovan (Mike) of Miramichi, Lynn Cronje (David) of Miramichi and Brent Carten (Daphne) of Campobello; her grandchildren, Sonia Carten, Bobbie-Jo Clark (Wyatt DeLong), Jessica Carten, Rachel Carten, Katelyn Carten (Gerald Tibbits), Anthony DeMerchant (Joyce), Andrew DeMerchant, Justin DeMerchant, Michelle Carten (Matt Harnish), Amanda Carten (James Stokes), Jonnie-Marie Carten, Ryan Donovan, Lindsey Donovan, Jillian Cormier (Caleb), Addie Carten, Ethan Carten (Marjorie Pelletier) and Sawyer Carten; her great grandchildren, David Aaron (Kaitlyn), Raven (Jordan), Wesley, Liam, Jenna, Jordan (Caroline), Allie, Shaelyn (Doug), Logan (Kelsey), Terry Lynn, Jennifer, Jacob, Tyson, Addy, Alexis, Damian, Quinn, Roxie, Kasey, Shianne, Cassandra, Levi, Rory, Lucille, Ramona, Jaxon, Alex, Olivia, Pria, John David, Aria and Louis; her grandson-in-law Wayne Clark; her sisters, Thelma Harris, Maxine Ingraham and Ola Foster; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Trecartin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
