He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Everett and Ferne Everett; his wife Greta Everett; his son-in-law Gordon Currie; and his siblings, Edith Dickinson (Bernard) and Eldon Everett (Barbara).

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Ginson of Waterville, Neil Everett (Carolyn) of Rosedale, Bonnie Currie of Bedell and Jeff Everett (Mike Wilson) of Lunenburg, NS; his grandchildren, Sally Duke (Frédéric), Mandy Ginson, Kirby Ginson (Katrina), Hilary Wallace (Dan), Nathan Everett (Katie) and Joel Everett (Deidre); and his great grandchildren, Kasen Ginson, Klara Ginson, Caroline Wallace, Eloise Wallace and Kyle Everett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
