She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh McPherson and Alice McPherson (Parsons); her husband Morrin "Dick" K. Petley; and her siblings, Margaret, Robert, Hugh, John, Bill, Allister, Douglas and Bruce.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Handrahan of Harcourt, Sandra Petley of Kent Junction, Kenneth "Ken" Petley (Tracy) of Beersville and Richard "Rick" Petley (late Norine) of Lutes Mountain; her grandchildren, Justin, Jennifer, John, Jessica, Kendra, Travis and Tyler; her great grandchildren, Cobey, Mason, Abby, Leanna, Ariya and Jackson; and her siblings, Dorothy Pushcar (late John) of Rexton and Hector "Sonny" McPherson (Margaret) of Shediac. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
