She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Watson and Gertrude Watson (Graham); her siblings, Helen, Neil, Alan, David, Ronald and Virginia; her son-in-law Douglas Sanderson; and her great grandchild Nicholas Caudle.

She is survived by: her husband Sidney; her children, Betty Sanderson of New Glasgow, NS, Phyllis Scott (Eugene) of Fredericton, Robert (Judy) of Pictou County, NS, Brenda Whitman (Ken Hetherington) of Hanwell, Vicki Whitman (Al Jones) of Scotch Lake, NB and James Whitman (Erin) of Maugerville, NB; and her siblings, Shirley Burns, Flora Feltmate and Jean Watson. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
