She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Mitchell and Olive Mitchell (Webster); her husband Ronson Tayes; her son Ronald Hutchings; and her siblings, Vernon, Clarence, Royce, Earl, Donald Mitchell and Shirley Mercer.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Hutchings of Saint John, NB, Randy Tayes, Leslie Tayes (Melinda) of Bloomfield, NB, Margaret Rideout (Philip) of Southfield, NB, Patsy Lockhart (Hollis) and Kelly Tayes (Howard Green) of Sussex, NB; her sisters, Ruby Mitchell of Hampton, NB and Joyce Alcorn (Albert Noel) of Jacquet River, NB; and her siblings-in-law, Victor Mercer and Joyce Mitchell. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
