She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clarke and Gabriella Clarke (Moschini); and her husband Hartley McAlary. She is survived by: her aunts, Sadie Carter, Mabel Clarke, Francis Todd and Inez McKinney; her children, Harry McAlary (Janet) of Berwick, NB and Elizabeth LeGassie (Gary) of Halifax, NS; her brother Jim Clarke (Karen) of California, USA; her grandchildren, Julie Baker (Brian), Chris McAlary (Tasha), Megan Haslett (Mike), Andrea Grainger (Andrew), Shayne LeGassie (Lodvi Bongers) and Nick LeGassie (Abby van der Jagt); her great grandchildren, Anna, Erin, Jared, Connor, Lucas, Avery, Aidan, Bo and Willem; and her great great grandchild Hayden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
