With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Nugent (Hampton, New Brunswick), born in Saint John, New Brunswick, who passed away on October 14, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Nugent and Lorianne Nugent; and his granddaughter Markie. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Nugent (Shields); his sister Zoanne of England; his children, Rhonda Arsenault (Wayne) of Cascompec, PEI, Troy Hardy (Glenna) of St. Martins, NB, Brenda Lee Poitras (Craig) of St. Paul, AB, Dianne Hornbrook (Joe) of Mt. Middleton, NB and Michael Hardy (Andrea) of Willow Grove, NB.; his grandchildren, Emily, Troy, Travis, Trevor, Tyler, Ashley, Brandon, Owen, Mariah, Jewel and Austin; and his close friends, Lloyd and Peter. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
John was a lifelong blood donor and was recognized for making over 300 blood and plasma donations.
