She was predeceased by: her parents, Murray Linden and Evelyn Linden (Lynch); her siblings, Edith Kyle and Ira Lynch; and her son Paul Demerson.

She is survived by: her husband John Demerson of Hampton; her sister Joyce Chatwin (Willard) of Rothesay; her sisters-in-law, Carol Coughlan (Donald) of Hampton and Saundra Lee Burnham (Bruce) of Alberta; and her grandchildren, Alicia Stevens and Joshua Roy-Demerson. She is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends.
