She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Downie and Hazel Downie (McCorquindale); her husband John Roherty; and her brothers, Frank (Greta), Neil (Jeanne Marie), Ivan (Nettie) and Bruce (Sharon).
She is survived by: her son Shawn (Yulia) of Quispamsis; her grandchildren, Sonja and Daniel; her nieces, Marilyn Crisp (Roger), Janet Jewett (Greg), Sheila Sowers and Patricia Chambers; and her nephew Frank Downie. She is also survived by several great-nieces & nephews, & cousins from her extended family.
