He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Barton and Eva Barton (Ryder); and his siblings, Basil Barton, Edward Barton and Elsie Barton.
He is survived by: his wife Faye Barton (Hansen) of Lakeside, NB; his son Scott Barton of Lakeside, NB; and his sisters, Sadie White of Chipman, NB and Dorothy Ferris of Jemseg, NB. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
