She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O'Brien and Mary O'Brien (Doyle); her husband William F. Dugay; and her siblings, Edward, Joseph, David, Donnie O'Brien and Mary "Min" Folkins.
She is survived by: her children, Michael (Mary), Edward (Dawn), Billy Dugay (Kelly), Pamela (Frank) and Kathie Remington (Lew); her grandchildren, Lisa, Angie, Michael, Katelyn, Kelly, Paul, Keltie, Kendall, Breanne and Shannyn; her sisters, Ann McCutcheon, Barbara Brown (Marvin), Bonnie Wood (Gerald) and Chrissy Hazelwood (Norman); and her sister-in-law Barbara O'Brien of Naples. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to these uncertain times and the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a private family service will be held with burial to follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
For those who wish, donations in Evelyn's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, the NB Lung Association or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by her family.
