She was predeceased by: her parent John T.; her husband Warren; her sons, Larry and James; her son-in-law Merlin "Mike" Chase; and her siblings, Carcella Floyd, Irene Marks, Vernon Tays and Mary Hardy.
She is survived by: her parent Ethel S. Tays (Mercer); her children, Doreen Folkins (Stephen) of Sussex, NB, Donna Chase of Kingston, NB, Barbara, Buchanan of Hammondville, NB, Calvin Mercer (Dale) of Knightville, NB and Raymond Mercer (Shelley) of Sussex Corner, NB; her daughter-in-law Norma Mercer of Kingston, NB.; and her sister Lillian Kilpatrick. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
Donations in memory of Elsie may be made to the Kiwanis Nursing Home or to the charity of the donor's choice.
