She was predeceased by: her parents, Clive Johnston and Clara Johnston (Keenan); her husband Walker Bovaird; her children, Judy Coughlan and Danny Bovaird; her grandson Adam Bovaird; her sisters, Pearl Peacock and Vinna White; and her foster parents, Tom Mersereau and Mabel Mersereau (Prince).
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Fiander of Wards Creek, NB, Mary-Ellen Webster (late Laverne) of Lakeside, NB, John Bovaird (Gail), Joe Bovaird (Pat) of Hampton, NB, Perry Bovaird (Andrea) of Apohaqui, NB, Michael Bovaird (late Marilyn) of Bloomfield Ridge, NB, Jackie O'Hanley (Tim) of Belleisle, NB and Tim Bovaird (Pam) of Quispamsis, NB. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; forty-two great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
