She was predeceased by: her father Elmer Chase; her brothers, Vernon, Ralph, Karl, Richard, Ernie and Mike Chase; her brother-in-law Harry Mitchell; her daughter-in-law Cathie Tays; and her nephew Joseph Marchbank.
She is survived by: her husband Clifford Tays; her children, Betty Bustin (Donnie) of Penobsquis, NB, Connie Roy (Laurie) of Saint John, NB, Terry Lewis (Robert) of Saint John, NB and James "Jim" Tays (Bonny Lynn) of Bloomfield Ridge, NB; her grandchildren, Christa, Ryan, Nick, Cody, Cassie, Matt, Jillian, Collin and Dallas; her siblings, Joyce Mitchell, Bonnie Marchbank (Curtis), Diane Chase and Steven Chase (Sharon); and her sisters-in-law, Donna Chase and Heather Chase. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Donations in memory of Barb may be made to the NB Lung Association or to the memorial of the donor's choice.
