He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Kennedy and Grace Kennedy (Walls); and his brothers, Fred Kennedy and Bill Kennedy. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Kennedy (Coughlan) of Gray Rapids; his daughter Judy Kennedy (Daniel Crouse) of Moncton; his sister Deanna Baldwin (Laurie) of Miramichi; his nieces and nephews, Steve Baldwin (Darlene), Wendy Baldwin, Tanya Kennedy-Sanford (Tim), Tara Kennedy and Jamie Kennedy; and his pet Lady.

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St Agnes Anglican Church (914 NB-118, Gray Rapids, NB E9B1E8).
