He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Gallant and Euphémie Gallant; and his siblings, Aurèle and Géraldine (Marc Arsenault). He is survived by: his wife Bernice Gallant; his daughters, Janice Gallant of Montreal, QC and Lise Gallant (Paul Chatelain) of Ottawa, ON; his siblings, Tilmon (late Lorraine) of Grande-Digue, Gérald (Alouisa) of Grande-Digue, Maria DeVarennes (Normand) of Grande-Digue and Irène Gould (late Olivier) of Memramcook; and his sisters-in-law, Aline Gallant of Grande-Digue and Esther Gallant of Grande-Digue. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
