He was predeceased by: his parents, Celia Guptill McDowell (Ingalls) and Harding Guptill. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Bellefleur (Gilles); his grandsons, Graham Walton and Joshua Walton (Jill); his great grandchildren, Connor Belliveau, Sarah Walton and Jacob Walton; his brothers, Claude Guptill (Janice "Jan") and Kerry Guptill; and his close friends, Eloise Pierce, Cathy O'Neill and David Hepditch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Neil's memory, donations to the Grand Manan Nursing Home foundation would be appreciated by the family.
