She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Shewell and Ellen Shewell (Chapman); and her siblings, George (Mary), Eileen Chapman, Kidd Chapman, Gwen Chapman, Hill Chapman, Reginald Chapman and Arthur Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Percy and Nellie; her uncle Arthur; her sister Florence Kelly of Saskatoon, SK; her son Tom (Deborah Cohen) of Oakville, ON; her grandchildren, Rachel of Toronto, ON, Benjamin of London, UK and Cohen-Murison; and her daughter Laurie (Ken Ingersoll) of Grand Manan, NB.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Grand Manan Whale & Seabird Research Station, Swallowtail Keepers Society or the choice of the donor.
