He was predeceased by: his mother Nelda Benson; and his brothers, John and Theodore. He is survived by: his father James E. Benson of Grand Manan; and his siblings, Peter (Brenda) of Grand Manan, Christine Phillips (Ron) of Moncton, NB, Walter, Tosha, Lavina Benson (Steve) of St. Stephen, NB and Howard (Roxanne) of Grand Manan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
