It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvain Rioux (Grand Falls, New Brunswick), born in Drummond, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 26, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Elizabeth "Betty" Mulherin; his parent Edward Rioux; and his siblings, Alyre, Gerald, Gemma Corbin and Johanne.

He is survived by: his parent Adele Rioux (Picard); his significant other Colette; his children, Mario (Annick), Carlo (Lissa) of Grand Falls, Ricky of Drummond, Carre Rioux of Drummond and Sheri Rioux of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Christine, Chloé, Nicko, Gabrielle, Emily, Elisabeth and Xavier; his siblings, Odette Albert (late Adam) of Limestone, Jeannine Cyr (late Peter) of Hamlin, Guildo of St-Eustache, Quebec, Gaetane Desjardins (late Donald) of St-Andre, Joel (Yvonne), Gracien (Denise) of Grand Falls, Greta Ledoux (Jean-Guy) of Oromocto, Jocelyne Morin (Hubert) and Glenn (Alvine) of Grand Falls; and his siblings-in-law, Gaetane Rioux (late Alyre) of Grand Falls, Jeanne Rioux (late Gerald) of Grand Falls and Roland Corbin (late Gemma) of Dover-Foxcroft. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
