He was predeceased by: his friend Shirley Nielsen; his parents, Narcisse Moreau and Emilie Moreau (Mongeon); and his siblings, Antoinette, Rita, Georgette, Simonne, Gerard, Gilbert and Ludger.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Moreau (Shawn) of Delta, BC and Eric Moreau (Jenn) of Guelph, ON; his grandson Joshua (Amberlyn); his great grandchild Benjamin; his siblings, Albert (Therese), Joseph of Drummond, Carmella Willett of Perth-Andover, Azilda Bard of Drummond and Gemma Marquis of Connecticut; his granddaughter Amy Dalley (Mark); his great grandchildren, Alexander and Felix of Moncton; his grandchild Thomas Bernier (Jessica Lajoie); and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Jayden of Moncton and Bradley of Grand Falls. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
