She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hughie and Emily Peters (Blacquier) of Saint-Leonard; and her siblings, Eugene, Stephen (late Marjorie), Paul, Joseph, Gerald, Patrick and Mary.

She is survived by: her children, Tom (Tina Tardif), Mark (Christina Wilson) of Grand Falls and Dianne of Vancouver; her grandchildren, Jeffrey (Kathia), Corey (Kortney), Kimberley and Katelyn; her sister Margaret Forbes of Ottawa; and her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (late Eugene), Blanche (late Joseph) and Penny (late Patrick). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
