He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphe Godreau and Irene Godreau (Levesque); and his brother Bertrand. He is survived by: his son Louis Godreau (Shermine) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Wesley, Ronon, Mason and Inara; and his siblings, Chester of New Denmark, Gerald (Isabelle Fournier) of Saint-Basile, Richard (Helene Baril) of Masson-Angers, Anne Godreau of Vancouver and Diane Bossé (Michel) of Saint-Basile. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
