He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert W. St-Amand and Rose St-Amand (Poitras) of Saint-Andre; and his siblings, Evelyn Felix (Herb) of Chatham, Rita Dirr, Jeannine Laforge (Jacques) of Grand Falls and Robert St-Amand (Line).
He is survived by: his wife Colette St-Amand (Morin); his children, Lynne Anderson (Barry) of Wingham and Richard St-Amand Jr. (Cindy) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Sean (Katelyn), Shelby, Qiara and Remy; and his siblings, Edgar (Jeanne) of Grand Falls, Euclide (Cheryl) of Hartford, Connecticut, Thérèse Cavanaugh (Dale) of Meriden, Connecticut, Lorraine Desjardins (Hermel) and Cécile. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
