She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Gillespie and Ada Gillespie (Everett); her husband Ivan Savage; her son Joe Savage; her brothers, Thomas, Joseph, Leigh, Marshall, Ronald, Ralph and Jim Gillespie; her grandchildren, Jason and Pam Savage; and her great grandchildren, Amos and Ivan Roscoe.

She is survived by: her children, Anne Savage-Franey of Grand Falls, NB, Mary Godbout (Gilles) of St-André, NB and David Savage (Paula) of Grand Falls, NB; her daughter-in-law Carolle Savage-Kavanaugh (Eddie); and her sisters, Barbara Gillespie of Grand Falls, NB and Judith Theriault (Clayton) of Grand Falls, NB. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
