She was predeceased by: her spouse Carmel "Frère" Rioux; her parents, Alfred "Freddy" Poitras and Frances Elizabeth "Betty" Giberson; and her son Richard. She is survived by: her children, Roger Rioux (Dorisse) of Saint-André, Denise Poitras (André) of Saint-André and Christiane "Biz" Hello (Peter) of Hanwell, NB; her grandchildren, Melissa (Mathieu), Jean-Michel (Annie), Alanie, Monika (Shawn), Christine (Zachary), Chloe and Emma (Hunter); her great grandchildren, Callie, Allison, Kane, Phillip, Rylie, Katelin, Lenna and Brooke; and her siblings, Anne Plourde (late Rodolphe) of Grand Falls, George Poitras (Georgette) of Drummond, Danny Poitras (Donna) of Taylor, BC, Rachel Poitras (late Jacques Tremblay) of Grand Falls, Frances Poitras (James Gorey) of Hamlin and Maine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
