He was predeceased by: his parents, Marc Leclerc and Emilia Leclerc (Bonsant); and his siblings, Philippe, Donald, Armand, Lorraine Michaud, Aline Michaud and Leda Godbout.

He is survived by: his spouse Claudette Desjardins; his children, Angie of Grand Falls, Jessy (Brooke Levesque) of Grand Falls and Amy (Dayton Bellefleur) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Zackery, Corey, Jordyn, Casey and Raphaëlle; his siblings, Yvon (Martine) of Saint-Andre, Marie-Ange (Noël Savard) of Kedgwick, Diane Leclerc and Noëlla (Bert Bellefleur) of Grand Falls; and his mother-in-law Thérèse Desjardins of Saint-Leonard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
