She was predeceased by: her spouse Rodolphe Gervais; her parents, Eugene Rioux and Élise Rioux (Caron); and her siblings, Sylvianne Mercure, Léanne Bourgoin, Roland and Valdor Rioux.

She is survived by: her children, Jacques (Rachel) of Drummond, Daniel (Christine) of Rosemere, Yves (Jacqueline) of Toronto, Anne (Jason Bennett) of Hammonds Plains, NS and Pierre (Vicky Bellefleur) of Grand Falls; and her siblings, Richard Rioux (Geraldine) of Drummond, Paul Rioux of Saint-Basile and Berthe Lasare (Rodrigue) of Quebec. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren.
