She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick Michaud and Anna Michaud (Dubé); her husband Harold Akerley; her granddaughter Amélie; and her siblings, Roland, Conrad and Gertrude.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Chantal) and Mike (Kim) of Saint-Leonard; her grandchildren, Craig, Chris, Maxime, Channie and Samylia; her great grandchildren, Jaxtyn and Blake; and her siblings, Laurette Carlson of Connecticut, Yolande Fournier of Edmundston, Guy of Connecticut, Rino (Pam) of Old Town and Maine. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
