She was predeceased by: her spouse Valerie "By" Ouellette; her parents, Leon Lavoie and Rose Lavoie (Desrosiers); her son Sylvain; and her siblings, Alain (Fernande), Lionel (Bernadette), Léo (Angèle), Yvette Leclerc (Albéo) and Thérèse.
She is survived by: her children, Noëlla Roussel (Gaëtan) of Saint-Andre, Edgar (Claudette) of Grand Falls, Norma Fournier (Jocelyn) of Sainte-Anne, Guy (Tina) of Saint-Leonard, Nathalie (Luc) of Drummond, René (Gisèle), Bobby (Rachel) and Ricky (Chantal) of Saint-Andre; and her siblings, Cyr (Gaëtane), Jean (Gaëtane), Armand (Line) of Saint-Andre, Yvon of Montreal, Solange Perreault (late Jean-Yves) and Jeanne Perreault (George) of Chicago. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
