He was predeceased by: his parents, Clément and Suzanne (Bérubé); and his siblings, Marielle (late Richard), Jeannine (late Louis), Jacques, Albert (Anne) and Gabriel.

He is survived by: his children, Lise Blanchette (Daniel Tardif) of Grand Falls and Brian Blanchette (Elsie) of Brooke-Alvinston; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Gordy, Andy and Matthew; his great grandchild Zackary; and his siblings, Gisèle (Armand), André, Jacqueline, Gaëtan (Diane), Gérard (Carole), Yves, Clémance (Raymond) and Denise. He is also survived by nieces and, nephews.
