He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Salter" and Laurette Godin (Ruest); and his siblings, Roma, Laurianne, Anne-Marie, Roland, Noëlla, Ronald, Kenneth, Denise, Gaëtanne and Jean-Guy.
He is survived by: his wife Jacinthe Godin (Coulombe); his daughter Sylvie Godin (Michel Gauvreau) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Marika, Mikaël and Hélène; and his siblings, Yvette (Carl Saucier) of Connecticut, Juliette (Brian Sisk) of Miramichi, Jacqueline (René Dubé) of Grand Falls, Gérard (Micheline), Fernand (Claudette) of Lacombe, Richard (Louise) of Sainte-Anne, Diane (Renald Dionne) of Ontario, Mario (Micheline) of Red Deer and Alberta. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
