He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Pelletier and Anna Pelletier (Langlais); his son Luc; and his siblings, Imelda Roach, Enoïl Pelletier, Noëlla Fraser, Anita Pelletier, Ephrem Pelletier, Rosario Pelletier, Marie-Mai Moreau, Irenée Pelletier and Corine.
He is survived by: his spouse Alvine Pelletier (Levesque); his children, Lise Pelletier Hébert (Luc) of Edmundston, Liette Pelletier (Luc Beaulieu) of Grand Falls and Donald; his grandchildren, Alexandre Picard, Renée Picard and François Hébert; and his sisters, Victorine Collin of Grand Falls, Dorothy Thibodeau of Millinocket and Maine.
