He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Rioux and Adele Rioux (Picard); and his siblings, Alyre, Gerald, Sylvain (late Betty), Gemma Corbin (late Roland), Jeannine Cyr (late Peter), Odette Albert (late Adam) and Johanne.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Lagacé-Rioux; his stepchildren, Nadia (Pierre Levesque) of Drummond and Lissa (Yanik Rossignol) of Grand Falls; his grandchildren, Cambrie, Camden, Arielle, Atlie, Nathan and Kylie; his siblings, Guildo of St-Eustache, Gaetane Desjardins (late Donald) of Saint-Andre, Joel (Yvonne) of Grand Falls, Greta Ledoux (Jean-Guy) of Oromocto, Jocelyne Morin (Hubert) and Glenn (Alvine) of Grand Falls; and his sisters-in-law, Gaetane Rioux (late Alyre) of Grand Falls, Jeanne Rioux (late Gerald) of Grand Falls and Colette Michaud (late Sylvain) of Grand Falls. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
