He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Babineau and Claudia Babineau (Caissie); and his siblings, Leonard, Sylvain and Mary Anne.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy of Riverview, Trevor, Tracy (Michel Petit) of Grand Falls, Justin, Megan Thibodeau, Destiny Lunn and Koby Bois; his great grandchild Joseph Jasper Thibodeau Wylie; his siblings, Phillip (Jeannine) of New Denmark, Alex (late Doris) of New Denmark, Peter (Margaret) of Ontario, Paul (Ann) of Crombie Settlement, Rose Babineau and Margaret Babineau of Fredericton; and his sister-in-law Joan (late Leonard) of Crombie Settlement. He is also survived by nieces and, nephews.
