Though Elphège may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elphège leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edouard Plourde and Lydia Plourde (Lafrance); and his siblings, Patrick, Réginald (late Gema Richard), Fernand, Yvon, Carmen (late Ronald Bérubé), Lorraine Plourde and Doris Plourde.

He is survived by: his wife Alvine Desjardins; and his son Pierre Plourde (Jennifer Carver) of Scarborough. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
