He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Lavoie of Grand Falls; his granddaughter Gabrielle Lavoie; and his siblings, Geraldine "Gerri" (Jos Poirier) of Aylmer, Michel "Mike" (Brandy) of Sainte-Anne, Carleen (Alain Blain) of Ste-Julie, Micheline Lavoie of Longueuil, Lucie Lavoie of Saint-Lambert and Angel Lavoie of Saint-Lambert. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
