He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Theriault and Helene Nellie Theriault (Rivard); and his siblings, Ludger (late Jeannine Deschênes), Camille, Maurice (late Alma Rivard), Aurèle and Venette.

He is survived by: his children, Michel (Céline Desjardins) of Riviere, Denise (Gaëtan Tardif) of Grand Falls and Kim (Dave Russell) of Australia; his grandchildren, Jean-Marc, Gabrielle, Mathieu, Danielle, Lance and Angelique; and his great grandchildren, Richard, Henri, Thomas, Hannah, Victoria and Benjamin. He is also survived by nieces and, nephews.

For those who wish, donations to the Grand Falls Regional Food Bank or the Foundation of the Friends of the Grand Falls General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
