He is survived by: his wife Verna Paré (Michaud); his children, Kevin (Cynthia Brunet) of Gatineau and Cindy Paré (Yvan Lavoie) of Edmundston; his granddaughters, Élisandre, Agathe and Margot; his siblings, Diane (Normand Theriault) of Edmundston, Leopold (Sandra) of Grand Falls, Gerald of Grand Falls, Parise Paré of Saint-Andre, Nicole (Marcel Bellefleur) of Grand Falls, Louise (Roger Berube) of Bathurst, Lise Paré of Saint-Andre, Nathalie (Yves Martin) of Grand Falls and Carole Paré (Steve Rousselle) of Tracadie; and his parents-in-law, Lucille Desjardins (Gilles), Donald Michaud (Lynn) of Grand Falls and Danny Michaud (Darcy) of British Columbia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
