He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoine Sr. Geneau and Lucie Genevieve Geneau (Mazerolle); his wife Verna; his children, Lisa and Donald; his great grandchild Daniel Gaëtan Patrick Cyr; and his siblings, Madeline Rossignol, Rita Michaud, Elizabeth Lagace, Eva Cote, Gilbert, Camille, Gaston, Raymond, Firmin, Paul, Robert and Leon Geneau.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Steven Geneau (Angela Michaud), Daniel Cyr (Joanne) and Pamela Cyr; his great grandchildren, Emmett, Karine, Maxime and Amélie; and his sisters, Ida Geneau of Jonquiere, Germaine Leclerc and Marguerite Geneau of Grand Falls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
