He was predeceased by: his parents, Eudore Richard and Diane Nissen. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Keeley of Grand Falls; his daughter Dominique Richard (Jean Laforest) of New Denmark; his stepchildren, Emily Shirley (Andrew) of Anfield and Blair Michaud of Riverview; his grandchildren, Noah, Riley Laforest, Bryson, Bensen and Baylor Shirley; and his siblings, Kathy Soucy (Ken) of Grand Falls, Andrea Johnstone (Ian) of Truro, NS and John Richard (Denise) of Moncton. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and several cousins.
For those who wish, donations to the Foundation of the Friends of the Grand Falls General Hospital or the Dr. Georges L. Dumont Hospital Oncology Department would be appreciated by the family.
