He was predeceased by: his parent Xavier Guay; and his siblings, Joseph "Elie", Wilfrid "Poune" (Therese), Regina Lefebvre (late Leonidase), Evelyne Michaud (late Euclide), Ernestine Guay, Bertrande Ouellette (late Louis) and Noella Michaud (Gilbert P.).
He is survived by: his parent Marie-Louise Guay (Bellefleur); his children, Marcel Guay, Michel (Edna Gallant-Guay) of Dieppe, Lise Lagacé (Albert) of Grand Falls, Sylvie Bellefleur (Donald) of Ottawa and Lucie Desjardins (Jean-Louis) of Drummond; his grandchildren, Jason Bellefleur (Meghan), Dave Bellefleur (Élise), Patrice Guay, Anne Lagacé (Denis Poitras), Lynn Lagacé (Luc Rioux), Annik Desjardins (Salomon Hamel) and Julie Desjardins (Corey Guay); and his siblings, Antoine (Marlene) of Hull, Félix (Gisèle) of Lachenaie, Quebec and Therese Leclerc (late George) of Grand Falls. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
