He was predeceased by: his parents, Cléophas Gallant and Exelda Gallant (LeBlanc); and his siblings, Bertha Cormier, Léontine Lirette, Marguerite Gallant, Alexina Bourque, Loyola, Dismas, Euclide, Albert and Emerie.
He is survived by: his wife Ivrette (Vienneau) of Grand-Barachois; his children, André (Elsie) of Bristol, PEI, Valmont (Maria) of Haute-Aboujagane and Marcia (Marc Surette) of Grand Barachois; his brother Elzéar (Florence) of Shediac; his grandchildren, Jenna, Whitney (Logan) and Emma-Lee; and his stepgrandchildren, Lucie (Adam) and Jérémie. He is also survived by five step great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
